Dr. Abraham Itty was raised in Arizona and graduated from Gilbert High School. He attended college at the University of Arizona, where he graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the prestigious Nugent Medal, one of six medals given to top graduating seniors. He subsequently attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors in global and community health. At Harvard, he was the recipient of several awards including the Impact Award and Milliken Award for his work improving access to dental care for individuals with special health care needs. Dr. Itty completed his pediatric dental residency at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry where he was on staff at Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. During his time at Baylor, he received extensive training in sedation and caring for medically compromised patients. After residency, Dr. Itty served as part time faculty at Baylor while completing a master’s degree evaluating access to dental care for children with complicated medical conditions.
Dr. Itty is a board certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr. Itty enjoys sports, traveling, hiking and spending time with his church, family and friends. He is excited to return to his home town and serve his community by providing high-quality patient centered care.
